The Music Man

In 2022 the Osage High School performed the Iowa classic musical  The Music Man.  This is a story about a traveling con man who wants to dupe the people of a small Iowa town into thinking that he will start a boys' band.  The only problem he doesn't know anything about music.  Will he deceive the people of River City or will he find that there is much more to Iowa than he thought? 

Mamma Mia

In 2021 Osage High School presented the show, Mamma Mia, featuring the music of everyone's favorite Swedish pop band ABBA.  This is the story of a young woman about to get married. She really wants her father to be there, but there's one catch...no one knows who he is.  Sophie invites three men from her mother's past in the hopes of finding her long-lost dad to walk her down the aisle.  

Mary Poppins

In 2020 Osage High School presented the show about everyone's favorite British nanny, Mary Poppins.  This is a tale about a young family that is learning how to be a family even when times are rough. With a spoonful of sugar and a touch of Mary Poppin's magic, the Banks family finds all they really need is each other. 

Beauty and the Beast

In 2019 OHS presented the classic fairy tale musical Beauty and the Beast.  This is a tale of a kind-hearted, spirited, and headstrong village girl Belle who helps an arrogant prince turned beast learn to love.   

Grease

In 2018 OHS performed the iconic American musical Grease! This is a classic boy meets girl high school love story taking placing in the 1950's.  The wholesome exchange student falls for the bad boy and teenage drama ensues.  As characters discover who and what they want, people will have to cross clique lines to see if love can win out in the end. 

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

In 2016 OHS produced, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.  This play centers around Adam, an 1850's mountain man that is looking for a wife to help take care of his household, including his six brothers.  He meets and marries Millie, who decides to reform the brothers and help them change their ways. She teaches them to dance and then takes them to a barn-raising.  There the brothers meet and fall in love with six girls, each of whom already has their own suitor.  Chaos ensues as the boys attempt to court and win over their ladies.

 High-Schoolers Guide to the Galaxy

In 2015  OHS produced the play The High-Schooler's Guide to the Galaxy.  This is a play about all the things there are to worry about in high school: class schedules, bullies, cafeteria food, dating, parents’ expectations, what to wear, and worst of all … gym class! What do students need a survival guide and that’s exactly what this play does with hilariously embarrassing and awkward results.  Our guides take us through the gauntlet that is high school.  We find the appropriate way to boogie down at high school dances, discover creative ways to get out of gym class, and take a peek into the most top secret of all rooms on campus: the mysterious teachers’ lounge.  

Annie

In 2014 OHS performed the classic musical Annie. The story is set in the 1930s during the Great Depression in New York City and features a lovable and unwaveringly positive orphan, Annie. Annie’s adventures and mishaps in her quest to find her real parents take her from the NYC Orphanage, where she has lived all her life, to the mansion of Oliver Warbucks –the world’s richest man!
